Brooke Smith
Brooke Smith founded OC Elite Cheer in 2005 to create an affordable All-Star cheer gym. Since then, OC Elite has placed top 3 at Nationals every year and earned national titles at Jamz, USA, NRG, SHARP, and Best of the West. Brooke has over 20 years of gymnastics and cheerleading experience and 15 years of competitive coaching experience. She was a Level 8 competitive gymnast, cheered for four years at Pacifica High School and two years at Fullerton College, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Child Development/Education while working as a full-time preschool teacher. She has coached all levels of cheer, including Cypress Pop Warner, Young Olympians, Katella High School, Loara High School, Pacifica High School, and OC Elite All-Stars. Brooke is AACCA Safety Certified, CPR and First Aid certified through the Red Cross, and registered with the USASF All-Star Federation.
Dottie Millspaugh
Dottie Millspaugh has worked at OC Elite Cheer since 2008. Dottie is the office Manager, responsible for overseeing daily operations, billing, managing athlete registrations, coordinating schedules, handling parent communication, and supporting coaches and staff. Dedicated to creating an organized, positive, and efficient environment for athletes and families. Dottie keeps everything running behind the scenes, from registrations and scheduling to parent communication and event coordination. Passionate about supporting athletes, families, and coaches while creating a welcoming and organized environment.


FAQs
What’s the difference between Prep, Elite, and Travel teams?
- Prep: No experience needed, lower cost, 1-2 days a week practices, 3 competitions, no travel.
- Elite: Experience required, 2-3 days a week practice, 7-8 competitions with some travel to Las Vegas, very committed.
- Travel: Experience required, 2-3 days a week practice, 10-11 competitions that require out-of-state travel. Travel teams attend Varsity & Rec Summit + Elite Competitions; very committed.
What ages do you offer teams for?
We offer teams for athletes ages 3–18, with divisions based on age and skill level.
What levels do you offer for Elite Cheer?
We offer levels 1-5.
Does my child need experience?
No experience is required for beginner teams. We’ll help place your athlete where they will succeed!
